A rained out game ended the Knight Riders 2008 season.  Not a ball bowled.  What a sad day for me and all of the fans.

What started off as a fine go to the season ended in the depressing finish we never expected.

Well?  There is always next year!

Well, I am a bit slow to start posting about IPL cricket, that does not mean that I have not been keeping track of what is going on though. Pre season I decided to back the Kolkata Knight Riders http://www.kolkataknightriders.com and so far it looks as if I made a wise decision, they are currently 2 for 2 and have the highest run rate. Yuvraj Singh’s savage assault on Stuart Broad made him the first batsman to hit six sixes in an over in Twenty20 internationals and the fourth in senior cricket.
