Just got a great little new mouse. It is a Logitech VX Revolution. I got it refurbished. So far so good. There is a little 2.4GHz usb stick that can be stored in the mouse when not in use. When you store it the mouse turns off. Worked right away in Ubuntu Feisty Fawn for left and right click and scrolling. I need to set up the other 7 buttons today, I will let you know how that goes.

I got my buttons working using a great tutorial found here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=455656
The idea is installing a button mapper, btnx and btnx config. The great thing is that now my zoom in and out is mapped to my volume control, ye-haw! The full manual is found here: http://www.ollisalonen.com/btnx/man
